purpose

The purpose of recertification is to ensure that all Certified Fertility Doulas maintain current, evidence-informed knowledge and continue to uphold the standards of professional excellence established by Her Fertility Support.

Ongoing education ensures that fertility doulas are equipped with the most up-to-date research, holistic tools, and emotional support techniques to serve individuals and couples navigating infertility with compassion, professionalism, and confidence.

recertification timeline

ā€¢Certification is valid for three (3) years from the date of issue.

ā€¢Recertification must be completed no later than 60 days after the expiration date.

ā€¢Doulas who fail to re-certify within the grace period may be required to retake the certification program.

eligibility for recertification

To maintain active certification status, Certified Fertility Doulas must meet the following criteria:

  • Professional Conduct
  • Maintain alignment with the Her Fertility Support Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and client-centered care in all interactions.

Ā 

continuing professional education

Complete a minimum of 15 continuing education hours (CPE hours) within the 3-year certification period.Ā These hours must relate directly to fertility, reproductive health, emotional support, or holistic wellness.

CPE hours may be earned through:

  1. Accredited workshops or webinars
  2. Research participation or publication
  3. Advanced training in relevant modalities (e.g., somatic work, yoga, energy healing, fertility education)
  4. Attendance at professional conferences (e.g., ASRM, Resolve, or integrative health events)
  5. Practice Hours, demonstration of supporting clients through sessions or other offers
  6. Continued education, demonstration of advanced concept education reading, or comprehension

administrative fee

Recertification fee: $100 paid every three (3) years.Ā

Students will submit recertification documents and payment through their user profile at www.herfertility.support/login
