DIVERSE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
We are changing the way people are supported on their fertility journey.
Â
The reality is, infertility rates are on the rise worldwide, but our current systems are not designed to support people through the experience of infertility. Whether your future client is
trying to conceive naturally
healing after pregnancy loss
or navigating the complexities of IVF
... they need support and you are the perfect person to support them!
The problem is, not all certifications prepare fertility doulas to effectively support women through the fertility journey.
A lot of aspiring fertility doulas believe that if they have any certification related to fertility, theyâre automatically qualified to support infertility. That makes sense, but itâs not the full picture.
Learning about fertility is not the same as learning how to support someone through their fertility journey.
The fertility journey is its own season with its own fears, losses, and decisions. Supporting it well takes specific training just like birth support and postpartum support are different.
The wrong recommendation can cause harm, confusion, or false hope.
Someone can be well-meaning and still be underprepared.
Iâve seen well-intentioned support people accidentally shame clients, oversimplify infertility, or push âfixesâ...not because they were careless, but because they werenât trained for this level of complexity. Itâs the difference between reading about hiking and guiding someone through a stormy mountain trail. Fertility support requires specialized training because the emotional, medical, and ethical stakes are higher.
If you feel called to this work, you deserve training that truly prepares you, not just something that checks a box.
Which of these stories inspires you the most?
