Welcome back to the Her Fertility podcast. You might have seen through my newsletter or on Instagram that there have been some shifts and changes behind the scenes, and I'm super excited to share with you what all of that is and where I'm going with Her Fertility support. So in this episode, I'm going to pull back the curtains and explain it all to you so that you can join on the ride with me.
 Welcome to Her Fertility, the podcast revolutionizing the way women are supported on their fertility journey. I'm your host, Jess Tims, with years of supporting women as a fertility doula, I've seen the emotional pain caused by infertility, including my own struggle with unexplained infertility, and I always knew there had to be a better way to support women with their fertility, health, and healing.
This is the first podcast to combine the principles of spirituality and energy healing with the research-based fertility data to support you in a way you've never seen before.
 So over three years ago, I started working as a fertility doula and I needed a business name, and somehow Fertility Jess came about and I just ran with it.
And. It has become very clear to me that there is a massive need in the fertility space for support specifically, and we have a lot available. We have a lot of medical tools, we have a lot of, you know, there's more financial stuff becoming available with insurance coverage in that way, and there is a growth happening all, you know, we all wish it was a little bit faster, but it is growing.
And there's a lot of attention worldwide because of the increased infertility rate worldwide but what is very apparent for me is the lack of support and the culture around which we've developed that lack of support and how that makes you feel. And there's, you know, I could go down the rabbit hole, so in this expansion of Her Fertility support, I am moving. Into a more expansive space with the fertility doula work. I believe that the fertility doula profession is very specialized. It is very needed, and I have a big vision, so let me walk you through what that is. If you are a woman who is trying to get and stay pregnant and you're looking for information for answers, and you're looking to find connection, then Her Fertility support is the place.
For you. You are going to have your doctor. You're going to maybe have your own personal family and friends who are supporting you, but there's this space here that we're creating where you can get one-on-one support, group support information in a new way beyond just your lab results to help inform your fertility journey and to help you not feel so alone in that journey.
Now, my goal with Her Fertility support is for you to be able to have access to something that supports you in the way that speaks to you, right? We know that this fertility journey is very unique to you. There's not one size fits all here, right? There's not one pill that's gonna solve your problem.
One supplement. There's not one protocol that's gonna solve this for you, and that is the lens in which I use to. To create this, what you need is unique to you, and what I'm giving you is a framework and a platform and tools to help guide you through the process and feel supported in that. So what does it look like?
The Fertility Support Circle is a free virtual group. If you are looking for a group who just gets it, who is on their own fertility journey we meet monthly for free. And I would love to see you. At that group, there will be a link in the show notes on how to register and RSVP for the next one.
Um, we meet once a month and it is just a beautiful space. It's a beautiful space of women. You don't have to talk. You can talk if you want to. There's, um, once in a while we'll have a guest speaker, but it's really a. Space for us to connect on this similar thread that we all have, which is a fertility journey that doesn't necessarily look like what we thought it would.
Um, and so that is a group space. Now, as this expands. As we bring more women into the support bubble, my goal for that is to break that out into some specializations. And this is where you can help me, what I would love to see is a her Her Fertility support circle for IVF, Her Fertility support circle for.
Pregnancy loss. Four. Unexplained infertility. Four secondary infertility, right? Like these specialized niches within our niche that help surround you with women who are a little more similar to your experience and, and I want to just acknowledge the elephant in the room that is. Yes, we are all experiencing infertility under this in infertility bubble.
However, your unique journey makes it unique to you, and that in itself can make it hard to connect with other people. And so I wanna address that by creating more unique niches within this but you can absolutely help me by sharing this information, sharing the podcast, sharing the social media page, and following it, it's at @herfertility.support And we will continue to grow. I have no doubt that in the next few months, this is going to be growing and reaching the women who need it, because there is an army of women behind it who believe in it and believe that support does not mean weakness.
That support means you are getting air underneath your wings to lift you to where you need to go faster. So in addition to group support, Her Fertility is also providing private one-on-one personalized support. If you are on your fertility journey and you just feel like you're at the end of your road, like you've tried everything, like you're not getting answers, you don't know why you're getting pregnant, you don't know why you're not staying pregnant, right?
Like all of these, you feel that. Place. It's just a place. The private sessions would be perfect for you. What the private fertility doula sessions give you is a personalized approach to not only hold space for you and give you someone to walk with you through this journey so you don't feel so alone, but it's also going to.
Inform you from a lens that's different from a lens that looks at your whole self through your body. You know what's going on with your body. We'll use the results from your doctor. We'll get that information. We're gonna look at your mind. And that, that replay record that's in your mind telling you it's not possible.
It's full of fear. We can't get pregnant again. We can't get pregnant at all. Whatever that is. And then we're gonna look at the energetics of everything. This is why getting Reiki trained was so important for me, so they could really understand energetics in the body and apply that now to your fertility journey.
And it is both an art and a science here, what I find is by pulling all of these together. You get more space to see for yourself what is going on with your fertility journey that might otherwise be missed when you're just hyper-focused on one thing. So personalized support looks very different for different people.
One of my goals with the podcast is to share with you different client stories so you can get a better idea of who would be benefiting from a fertility doula. I can tell you it's, it's anybody who's trying to get pregnant, but I want to give you a better sense of what that looks like. So stay tuned for those amazing episodes.

And as we approach fall of 2025, I will be building out a new fertility doula certification, which I am super, super excited about. I'm like, I can't, I can't contain it anymore. I'm so excited. What I've learned in the years that I've been doing this work is the current certifications available just aren't enough, and I am super excited to be creating something that feels so much more well-rounded and not just like an add-on
to like a birth doula's practice, because this is very different than birth doula work. And it is its own profession, really, like it is its own need. Um, and so I will step off my soapbox for, for now. Um, but if, brings up a curiosity in you, please go check it out. That will be coming in the fall of 2025.
And so that's where we're going because I truly believe, and I have seen firsthand that the experience of infertility does not need to be hard. We have just socially constructed a lack of support. And we have socially said like, you go through this alone. And to me, that's not okay. And my goal for you is that you find.
Somebody, whether that's me or somebody else who can support you, I'll say like, I know I'm not for everyone and I don't need to be, and that's really the reason why I'm expanding Her Fertility support so that if you are on a journey that you didn't expect to be on, if you're ready to be a mom and you just don't know why it's not happening, that you have a place to land that feels.
